Loving You Part 2

Hello... For those of you that are following me for the first time, Thank You. I can only hope that I will  say something that will perhaps enhance your life and give you a little more of self awareness.😊

For my continuous followers, mere words can never express the gratitude I have for each of you. Thank you 😊

A few days ago I began a conversation titled Loving You...  In the conversation I asked the question "How do you see yourself"? Not how others see you, but how and what you believe about yourself?

So, on today I would like to conclude that session. 

Oftentimes than many we are faced with acceptance of who we are. We are given suggestions as to what/how we should/should not be. Which can sometimes cause us to lose sight as to how we see ourselves. I, for one,  can honestly say valuing others opinions/suggestions has brought me both good times, as well as, some not so much of good times. Nevertheless, I am still here. 

Some of the suggestions were, if I can to be honest,  was not what I wanted for myself, but because the person that was making the suggestion was someone I respected, I entertained that suggestion, which I later regretted. Now for those of you that are saying I should have known better, reverse the mirror and remind yourself of your past mistakes based on other people's suggestions. Don't forget, you too have made some unwise decisions of regret. Forgetting something's can sometimes causes you to relive unwanted memories... IJS(I'm just saying)

 

How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as a people pleaser or do you see yourself as being an original. I for one have grown to love me simply because I know that there is only one me. There is no one anywhere that can do me better than me. Anyone outside of me that is trying to do me is duplicated. One may ask, How did you get here?

                                   Life!!!

Life has a way of bringing out the good, bad, and the ugly in each of us. And guess what... That is what life is suppose to do. It presses out the ugly you so that you can experience and reveal to others the beauty inside of you. 

You know my earthly father has been expired now for 33 years. While living in New York with him he shared something with me that every now and then I reach back on. He told me.. " there is no one out here in this world that can love you better than you". He then said think about that and one day you will understand exactly what I am saying".  and walked away. At first I was so not trying to hear that, but when life introduced me to LIFE, I got it. I now understand what it is to have a life with/without the love of loving me..

Please allow me to share with you my take on what my father was saying to me...

I learned and is still learning that there is no way I could even begin to understand loving me without FIRST learning the originator of LOVE...

You see learning to love yourself has to begin with John 3:16. This is must believe suggestion to you. Establish a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus Christ within yourself  learn what love is all about. And once that relationship is established, you in return can begin to love yourself, see the value of your life's ups and downs, and appreciate the love shown to you. Disobedience, loves shows mercy... Hurtful relationships, loves shows forgiveness. And list goes on and on. It is then and only then that you can say and know without a shadow of a doubt that the greatest gift called Loving You lives inside of YOU... HOW DO YOU SEE LOVING YOURSELF?
